Every day, we compare and contrast things unconsciously. Every time you enter a grocery store, you are undoubtedly comparing one product to another before finally deciding on one and placing it in your basket.
When it comes to assessing which product we prefer, we really have to examine what we want and need in a product before we buy. Below are two websites for similar products: the iPhone 3G and the Blackberry Storm.

They are both very popular cell phones with similar features.
Assignment:
- Look through both of these websites.
- Make a list of a few of their similar features.
- Then make a list of features iPhone has that Blackberry doesn't (at least 1 difference)
- Then make a list of features Blackberry has that iPhone doesn't (at least 1 difference)
- Which phone do you prefer and why does that phone appeal to you more?
- What features does that phone have that would fit your life or personality better?
- If you were going to write a review about these 2 phones, would you use Subject to Subject compare/contrast or Topic by Topic compare/contrast?

I prefer the blackberry storm because it looks less complicated. Also, the Storm has a better camera and I like to take pictures. The camera on the storm would fit my personality better because I like to take photos everywhere I go. I like music and the 3gs has better music quality than the Storm but, I have a ZUNE so I don’t need an iPod too. So I would have to say that the Storm is the phone for me! I think I would do topic by topic on this one. I think it would be easier for me to talk about one topic at a time for this essay.

I prefer the blackberry storm. It is far easier to use and the battery life nearly doubles that of the iPhone. The blackberry has less apps but it is a more well rounded phone. The blackberry storm would fit my life better because of the high resolution camera and longer battery life. I would never use most of the apps that come with the 3GS. A subject to subject comparison/contrast is far easier when comparing new electronics.

I would prefer to have an I Phone. I am used to working on a mac book, and find it user friendly. We can change orientation of the phone according to our needs and I like this feature better, as we don't have to struggle to fit our data in it. Secondly it will be easy to read maps on 3G than on Storm.
I would prefer to write the reviews in subject by subject. It would be easier to describe each phone separately, instead of clubbing them together.

I would prefer the iphone because it has alot of differant applications that you can play with when you are bored. It is fast and i am a very impatient person so that fits me perfectly. When writing an essay about these two phones i would write subject by subject because that are so very similar and are not all that differant. That would probably be easiest for me.

5.) Iphone because all the extra apps its equipped with. It also has a landscape touch screen key board with a slimmer appearance.
6.) The landscape keyboard fits me better because is faster and easier, and anything that makes my life easier and less stressful is a positive result.
7.) I would probably use subject by subject. I think it owuld be easier to write Iphone vs. Blackberry.
